About Us

2017 is the year of MEMBERSHIP and SERVICE!

Join the Best Club EVER!

If we weren't all crazy, we might be FIN-SANE!

What the heck is a Parrot Head?

The term "ParrotHead" was coined in 1985 at a Jimmy Buffett concert at the Timberwolf Amphitheater in Cincinnati, OH. Buffett has said numerous times that he attributes much of his fame to this area. At the show, Jimmy commented about everyone wearing Hawaiian shirts and parrot hats and how they kept coming back to see his shows, just like Deadheads. Timothy B. Schmit, then a member of the Coral Reefer Band, coined the term "Parrot Head" to describe each of those fans.

Do you consider "SNOW" a four-letter word?

Do you love vacationing in the islands? Sailing? Barstooling?

Are you sure you were meant to chuck it all and live on a beach?

Do you like Jimmy Buffett's music, books, casinos, restaurants, and life story?

Are you stuck in Central New York and need a purpose to party?

You may not realize it yet, but you are a Parrot Head. No need to resist it.

We are like you. We would like to join forces and party with a purpose (or porpoise).

The club is NEW and open to your ideas. Please contact us with your questions and concerns.

Let's get together and feel alright - Mahalo Parrot Heads!

2nd in CommandPresident: Wayne LeVine has amazing leadership skills and was elected President because of his ability to gather, coordinate, organize and herd a group of like-minded people and turn them into Purpose Partying Parrotheads (try to say that three times fast).

Our LeaderVice President: Sheila Weed was elected as Vice President to act as President in the event the President is not available (or is busy napping).

Our Banker Treasure-er: Karen Farmer was elected as founding treasurer. She is enthusiastic about fundraising and getting the club up and running!
